Daily Fresh food

At Honey Pot House, we believe good nutrition is the foundation of early childhood growth, energy, and learning. Our in-house chef prepares fresh, wholesome, and delicious meals daily from scratch using high-quality ingredients.

Our Fresh Food Commitment

  • Prepared On-Site Daily: Every meal and snack is cooked fresh in our nursery kitchen each morning.

  • Nutritiously Balanced: Menus are carefully designed alongside early years nutrition guidelines to fuel active play and brain development.

  • Seasonal & Varied: We rotate our multi-week menus seasonally to introduce children to a rich variety of global tastes, colors, and textures.

  • Sustainably Sourced: We prioritize locally sourced produce and whole foods, keeping added sugars, salt, and processed ingredients out of our kitchen.

A Typical Daily Menu

  • Breakfast: Wholesome grains, fresh berry slices, warm oats, and milk or water.

  • Mid-Morning Snack: Crisp vegetable sticks with dip, seasonal fruit, and seeds.

  • Lunch: A hearty hot main course (such as baked salmon with wholewheat pasta, or vegetable lentils with rice) served with cooked greens, followed by a light fruit yogurt.

  • Afternoon Tea: Light, nourishing options like homemade vegetable soup, toasted wholemeal pita with hummus, or cheese and fruit platters.

Inclusive Dining & Allergy Safety We cater to all dietary requirements, including medical allergies, intolerances, vegetarian, vegan, and religious preferences. Our kitchen follows strict allergen management protocols, ensuring safe, dedicated options so every child eats comfortably alongside their peers.

Building Healthy Habits for Life Mealtimes are an essential social and developmental experience. Children sit together family-style to enjoy their food, practice table manners, learn to use cutlery, and build confidence by pouring their own drinks and serving themselves.

We are proud to say that we have a 5 star ‘scores on the doors’ rating from Solihull MBC
