The Little Explorers 1 room is a warm, nurturing space designed especially for children aged 3 to 18 months, offering a homely environment where our youngest explorers feel safe, loved, and ready to discover the world around them. With natural materials, cosy areas for rest and play, and thoughtfully arranged spaces that encourage gentle exploration, the room supports secure attachments and predictable routines that help babies settle confidently.

Each child has a dedicated key person who builds a trusting relationship with them and their family, ensuring personalised care that follows home routines for feeding, sleeping, and comfort. Children enjoy rich sensory experiences, early communication through songs and stories, and plenty of opportunities for physical development such as rolling, crawling, and cruising.

Our staff provide responsive interactions throughout the day, creating a space where curiosity is encouraged and every milestone is celebrated. Mealtimes are relaxed and supportive, sleep times are peaceful and closely supervised, and outdoor experiences are woven into daily practice.
